Sen. Tom Cotton: Few Things Are More Destructive to the Military Than Critical Race Theory

Photo Credit: Image by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay

It wasn’t too long ago that most Americans had no idea what critical race theory was. At least I didn’t.

Now, the term is everywhere. It is the idea that American racism has shaped every institution and norm in our lives. White people are the oppressors and have led lives of privilege and people of color are the oppressed who have always operated from a point of disadvantage in America. Suddenly this ideology is finding its way into every aspect of our lives.

It is divisive and destructive, but nowhere is it more dangerous than in the military.

Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas joined Breitbart News’ Alex Marlow on Marlow’s Friday radio show to discuss the impact of critical race theory on our military, our government and our foreign policy.

Cotton served as a U.S. Army officer for four years and afterward, in the Army Reserves. He also completed several overseas deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Marlow asked the senator to address the new woke direction the military has taken.

“What is the message to young troops?” Marlow asked about the 17:40 mark, noting that critical race theory is finding its way into military training.

Newly enlisted troops, Marlow said, are being taught that “some races are treated worse than other races” and that it “seems like an incredibly distracting and toxic message.”

Cotton agreed.

“It’s particularly bad for this to be taught to our young troopers, whether it’s at service academies or in professional military education, or just in routine quarterly or annual training,” he said. “Because they need to look to their right and their left and see not the representative of a racial group, but a battle buddy, a comrade in arms who will lay down their lives in defense of each other and their nation.”

“If I were in a foreign intelligence service,” he explained, “I can think of few things that would be more destructive to morale and unit cohesion in the United States military than critical race theory, and the idea that we are somehow simply representatives of our race as opposed to American patriots who are wearing the flag of our country in defense of our common ideals.”

In March, Cotton introduced a bill to ban critical race theory from being taught in the military. He told colleagues at that time, “Critical race theory teaches that race is a person’s most important characteristic, and that America is an evil, oppressive place. That idea may be fashionable in left-wing circles and college classrooms, but it has no place in our military,” according to Fox News. published an article about a March briefing at the Pentagon delivered by Chief Master Sergeant Ramón “CZ” Colón-López, the senior enlisted adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Colón-López told reporters that soldiers “from every echelon that we’re talking to” were likening the Jan. 6 Capitol incursion with the Black Lives Matter/antifa riots that spread throughout the country last summer in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

Troops have asked him, Colón-López said, “How come you’re not looking at the situation that was going on in Seattle prior to that?”

Colón-López said he is “concerned about the way that some people are looking at the current environment,” according to

He sees this “confusion,” especially prevalent among younger troops, as a reason “why the training sessions on extremism are needed.”

Frankly, I’m concerned about the way Colón-López is looking at the current environment.

In a March commentary piece, Fox News host Tucker Carlson asked, “Is the military more concerned with wokeness than winning the next war?”

It would appear so.

Cotton is right. This kind of training undermines our military and projects weakness to our enemies.

About the 14:20 mark in Friday’s interview, Marlow asked Cotton about where else he sees critical race theory popping up.

Cotton replied, “[Critical race theory] popped up most recently in this conflict between Israel and Hamas. You have a very vocal — I think small, but very vocal left-wing of the Democratic Party led by the ‘squad’ — people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib — who see the entire world not as individuals, but simply as groups of people, the oppressed versus the oppressor.

“Obviously, in their worldview, Israel is the oppressor and the Palestinians are the oppressed,” Cotton said. “I think one of the new so-called squad members likened what was happening to Hamas to what happened to Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, seven years ago. And of course, the BLM organization is an openly Marxist and anti-Semitic organization.”

He continued, “So that’s just one more instance where you see critical race theory influencing our public debates, and it’s a deeply offensive and anti-American worldview that we aren’t individuals, [but] are simply representatives of a group to which we belong, in this case, the group represented by our skin color, and that some races are inherently privileged and other races are inherently victimized or oppressed.”

Critical race theory is a “deeply unpopular view among normal Americans, but also very popular in university towns, in the left-wing press, and increasingly in our mainstream media,” he added.

In a later comment, about the 17-minute mark, Cotton said the tentacles of critical race theory have worked their way into legislation.

“Almost every bill that comes before the Congress these days has these kinds of affirmative action quotas and set-asides, which I would remind your listeners are blatantly unconstitutional and have been for years,” he said.

“But this is the modern Democratic Party. They see the entire world through the lens of race. They see it as essentially a neo-Marxist view that there only can be oppressors and the oppressed. It’s deeply antithetical to the ideals that animate America.”

In the comment section, one critic complained essentially that Republicans were painting an entire party with the same brush. This commenter wrote the Cotton was accusing Democrats of supporting “fringe ideas.”

But positions that not so long ago would have been considered radical are rapidly gaining support among Democrats.

It’s difficult to find any meaningful polling on the subject of critical race theory. One national poll, released on May 10, conducted by a group called Parents Defending Education, found that 25 percent of respondents said it was somewhat or very important for schools to ‘teach students that their race is the most important thing about them’ compared to 70% who said this is not important or not at all important.”

The vast majority of the country, in other words, sees the problem for what it is.

Idaho recently became the first state to ban critical race theory from being taught in the state’s public schools. Other red states will soon follow. It is a dangerous ideology and we need to eradicate it wherever we find it.

Uh Oh: Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin Ghosted by His Chinese Counterpart

Photo Credit: Image by David Mark from Pixabay

It looks like U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has been ghosted by his Chinese counterpart, General Xu Qiliang, the vice-chair of the Central Military Commission and a member of the politburo.

“Three people briefed on the impasse” told The Financial Times on Friday that Austin has tried on three occasions to contact Xu, “but China has refused to engage.”

As evidenced by the acrimonious talks held in Alaska between Biden officials and CCP leaders two months ago, the US/Chinese relationship, while never smooth, has become increasingly more strained in recent months.

Austin would like to speak with Xu about “the rising tensions in the Indopacific,” specifically Chinese aggression in Taiwan and their military activity in the South China Sea. “The two militaries are increasingly coming into closer contact, particularly in the South China Sea as the Chinese navy and air force conduct aggressive activity near Taiwan,” according to the FT.

In March, a U.S. defense official told the FT that “President Xi Jinping was flirting with trying to seize Taiwan.” Within hours, “China flew a record number of fighters and bombers into Taiwan’s air defense identification zone.”

In late January, the FT reported that Chinese military aircraft had conducted “simulated missile attacks on the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier near Taiwan.”

Additionally, the U.S. is concerned about the ongoing territorial dispute between Japan and China over a small group of uninhabited islands located northeast of Taiwan. The islands are currently controlled by Japan, where they are known the Senkaku Islands. In China, they are called the Diaoyu islands.

These islands are important “because they are close to important shipping lanes, offer rich fishing grounds and lie near potential oil and gas reserves” and they are located “in a strategically significant position,” according to the BBC.

A U.S. defense official who wished to remain anonymous told Reuters, “The military relationship is strained, no question about that. It’s hard to know how much this is reflective of that strain as much as it is just Chinese intransigence.”

“But we certainly want to have a dialogue. We just want to make sure we have a dialogue at the proper level,” the official added.

Reuters spoke to a second official who explained there was disagreement with the Biden administer over whom Austin should reach out to – General Xu or Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe. “Xu is seen as having more power and influence with Chinese President Xi Jinping.”

Both Austin and Wei had planned to attend the Shangri-La defense forum, scheduled to take place in Singapore next month, however, the gathering was cancelled last week due to COVID-19.

A defense official told the FT that Austin prefers to meet with Xu “who outranks Wei in the Chinese political and military system. … We believe the appropriate counterpart is the vice-chair of the Central Military Commission.”

FT reports that “[Former Defense Secretary] Jim Mattis met Xu in Beijing in 2018. … But China almost always offers up its defense minister instead. This has increasingly frustrated the US because he has little power in the Chinese system and does not serve on the 25-member politburo that rules China.”

“The White House is split over how Austin should handle the situation. Some National Security Council officials are opposed to Austin dealing with Wei. Another group are less resistant, but want Austin to use any meeting or call to tell Wei that he would only hold talks with the CMC vice-chair.”

Former Pentagon Asia official Heino Klinck explained that, due to the structural differences between the U.S. and Chinese militaries, “it had always been challenging agreeing [on] protocol for meetings.”

“Given the situation with Taiwan and other issues such as the East China Sea and South China Sea, as well as attempted Chinese coercion of our key allies and partners such as Australia, it is important to have clear communication,” Klinck told the FT. “We need to be conveying to the Chinese what our own red lines are because they convey theirs.”

China’s reluctance to engage with the U.S. should come as no surprise after the complete breakdown of the diplomatic talks in Alaska, where it was made immediately and abundantly clear that Chinese Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs Yang Jiechi had neither fear, nor respect, for the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The photographs below show that the U.S./Chinese relationship had been quite different under the Trump Administration.

America has never been as weak as they are now against China and the Chinese know it. Maybe Austin ought to drop his war against extremism “in the ranks” and his concern over the “existential” threat to national security from climate change, and focus on America’s real enemies.

Pay Attention Biden: France Shows the World How to Crack Down on Woke Culture in Schools

Photo Credit: Image by Phil Riley from Pixabay

The “Academie Francaise,” France’s education ministry, scored a win against left-wing equality advocates seeking to normalize “gender neutral” spellings of words in schools. The Biden Administration would be wise to take a lesson from the French government.

The education ministry issued a ruling last week banning schools from “using gender neutral spellings,” which they claim are “a threat to the French language,” according to a report in The Daily Mail.

The education ministry is “responsible for guarding the French language” and considers the activists’ efforts to normalize gender neutral spellings to be “harmful to the practice and understanding of French.”

Gender equality advocates argue that “full stops in the middle of written words – dubbed ‘midpoints’ – which allow both male and female forms to be represented simultaneously” should be required.

Because English is a non-gendered language, the article explains, the word “friends” refers to individuals of either gender. “In French grammar, nouns take on the gender of the subject to which they refer, with male preferred over female in mixed settings. Therefore, a group of friends with four women and one man is referred to using the masculine ‘amis’.

Advocates of gender equality propose the addition of “midpoints” to neutralize a word. For example, “the written word becomes ‘ami.e.s’, including the feminine ‘e’ ending – though it would still be pronounced the same when spoken.” Thus, they claim the language would be “more inclusive.”

Those opposed to making this change believe the “differences between written and spoken French would make the language harder to learn and threaten its entire existence.”

Nathalie Elimas, the State Secretary for Priority Education, said the use of midpoints would do nothing to increase the use of the French language, “but will instead drive more people to learn English which does not gender its nouns.”

“With the spread of inclusive writing, the English language – already quasi-hegemonic across the world – would certainly and perhaps forever defeat the French language,” she added.

In an interview with Sunday newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, Jean-Michel Blanquer, France’s education minister, said “the use of dots in the middle of words” would make it more difficult for individuals “with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia.”

The Mail reports that one of France’s largest teachers unions, SUD, called “on teachers to ignore the ruling.” The union issued a statement saying that Blanquer must “stop trying to impose his backwardness on the education community.”

In America, the teachers union would have had the last word.

According to the article, the ruling provided some concessions. “Certain job titles should change forms when the person holding the role is female. For example, a female president would be referred to as ‘présidente’. Job application forms should also include both male and female titles to encourage more women to apply, the decree added.”

This development proves that, in contrast to the current ruling class in America, there are still some sane individuals inside of the French government.

It might surprise members of the Biden Administration to hear that not all foreign governments approve of the Woketopia they’ve tried to create in America.

According to an editorial in the The New York Times, many French “politicians and prominent intellectuals” believe that America’s new woke culture has gone too far and now poses an existential threat to the French republic and identity.

Specifically, they are concerned about the dangerous social theories on “race, gender and post-colonialism,” which they view as forms of separatism.

The article cites an October speech delivered by French President Emmanuel Macron, in which he warned that the threat to French culture lies in “[c]ertain social science theories entirely imported from the United States.”

Macron is absolutely correct.

In recent years, the emboldened left has tried to force Americans into adopting their radical, divisive ideas. They’ve tried to convince every white person that they’re racist and must atone for it.

The French president sees what’s happening in America and knows the uncertainty we face. He wants to make sure that it stays out of France.

And he has to be wondering why U.S. voters elected such a “woke”, power-hungry and anti-American administration.

On some level, he may take pleasure in our current troubles. On the other hand, he knows the world has suddenly become a far more dangerous place.

Less Is Certainly More

Photo Credit: Image by sergei akulich from Pixabay

I was just reading the news, or at least all of the news I can ingest without experiencing an equal and opposite intestinal reaction, and noticed a highly impactful story from our friends at Fox News about a 47-year-old woman who disappeared last year, only to be “found” by sheriff deputies. She survived a winter in the Utah front range, not exactly the Hilton of outdoor experiences.

How she made it alive through the winter without tons of necessary gear is a mystery (and a great potential embarrassment to any and all professional preppers), but I am guessing that she had some level of physical, mental and emotional preparedness.

The Fox article reports that the woman wasn’t crazy:

Although the woman had struggled to find an adequate food supply over winter, [Sgt. Spencer] Cannon commended her resourcefulness in foraging grass and moss.

Cannon added that the woman’s campsite was well maintained and organized. He also shared that the woman is “very intelligent” and “has held highly respected jobs.”

With apologies to Charlotte (one of my favorite literary characters); my delicate, woven web message would be “some woman”.

Why she attempted it, to me, is the bigger question. The Fox news article explained that “Her motivation was, in part, for solitude and isolation,” Sgt. Spencer Cannon told Fox News in an email.

Wow.  I’ve driven by the Spanish Fork area on several occasions – it’s beautiful and if you would pick a place to starve to death or perish from the elements, you couldn’t find a more perfect landscape.

My lizard cortex jumps to the forefront of my brain and takes control. … Running from? Running to? Running away? Running towards?  Running, running, r.u.n.n.o.f.t. (Oh Brother, extra credit if you remember that line).

Mr. Narrator (interrupts):  “Richard Edward!  Stop! Deep breath! This woman wasn’t running in fear. Read the statement from Sgt. Cannon. She was running towards a better place, a more sane and serene place. She was running towards health and well-being.”

Richard Edward: “Okay, Mr. Narrator. I’ll consider your opinion. … But why risk death and/or being eaten by a bear for a little solitude? C’mon man, there are spas for that kind of thing, aren’t there? Does getting away from it all have to be a death-defying act? What ever happened to quiet and essential oils?”

Mr. Narrator: “Why do you really think she was running, Richard Edward? You think she was looking for just for a little solitude? Look around you and tell me what is happening. I think maybe she was looking for less. Yes, less of the following things.”

“Critical Race Theory is encroaching on every aspect of our lives. If you are white, you are the worst thing since spam was invented. Not guilty about being white? You should be. Just ask any race hustler who is working their corner.”

“Illegal immigrants are now the disadvantaged people of choice – they’re treated better than U.S. citizens. They’re more deserving of government help in difficult times. Just ask the Biden administration. Break the law to get here, no worries, come on down!”

“Mask up, dude! Every local governmental official below the office of county dog catcher governor is exercising their appropriated power to tell you what to do and how to behave in public.”

“Drug addled thugs from Minneapolis are celebrated as heroes. Cops who risk their lives everyday are the new Brownshirts of our society. Is this law and order you can count on to keep you safe?”

“Felons are released back into the community without so much as an overnight stint in the local jail, much less required to post bail. Local DAs are practicing a catch and release program. No chair to sit on when the legal music stops? No problem, just keep playing the game, we’ve got your felonious back.”

“I could go on Richard Edward, but answer me honestly, do you think this woman was comfortable walking the streets of her neighborhood, living daily life in her home, encountering her woke neighbors, the shopkeepers in her community, the roving activists with megaphones bellowing that Black Lives Matter, interacting with any level of her government representatives for assistance while constantly having to be aware of her skin color and supposed privilege?”

Richard Edward: “You mean she was running toward a life without ‘woke’ standards? A lifestyle that used to value people as people, and not as generalized identities based upon skin color and political views?

Mr. Narrator: “Yes Richard Edward. She was running towards sanity. She was running towards a life of truth. She was running towards a life of value, not virtue signals.”

Richard Edward: “We don’t have that kind of community any more. We can’t escape the all-encompassing theory of Critical Race Theory. The woke brigade now rules the planet and our daily behavior.”

Mr. Narrator:  “Richard Edward, you will someday wake up and realize that less truly is more. Less critical race theory, less government rules and regulations, less illegal immigration, less leniency to convicted felons, less government spending, less taxes, less politics, less of everything that steals your individual American rights. Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was considered to be an architectural genius and his Bahus style of design influenced generations of architects. He is synonymous with ‘less is more’. Minimal intrusion, by architecture, on lifestyle.“

Richard Edward: “I get it now. This woman who ran away to a Utah campsite in Spanish Fork is more than an architectural genius. She didn’t run away to build a minimalist building, she ran toward liberty and self-reliance. She ran away from a life in the popular culture gulag and toward a life of independence. She ran toward freedom.”

If you think that a life in the wilderness could be better than a life in the Democrat-controlled matrix, please leave Richard Edward and Mr. Narrator a comment about why.

Black Iowa Professor Tries to Limit Interactions with ‘Yt People as Much as Possible’

Photo Credit: Image by Irina Kuzmina from Pixabay

The compassionate left insists that anti-white racism is impossible. Iowa State University professor Dr. Rita Mookerjee, who teaches sociology, gives us yet one more reason why that’s not true.

In a February Twitter post, @RitaMookjee, a.k.a. Dr. Rita Repulsa, responds to an invitation to speak on a student government “Diversity and Inclusion panel” the following month. She writes: “Lately, I try to limit my interactions with yt people as much as possible. I can’t with the self-importance and performance esp during Black History month.”

Campus Reform, which reported this story, explains that “the term ‘yt’ is often used online in place of the word “white” in conversations involving race.”

In October, she tweeted: “whyte men with dirty hair and wrinkled clothes will always be liked and higher ranked” and “Someone called me white the other day so #NewProfilePic because I think the f**k not.”

Now, pardon me for saying so, but these tweets tell me that Dr. Rita Repulsa does not like whites. And she’s not alone. Not even a little bit.

In fact, among some extremely liberal groups, we’re even seeing white people turning against white people.

After catching a glimpse of the young man behind the Boulder, Colorado, grocery store shooting in March, liberals took to Twitter to express their rage at the evil white man. Most of these tweets were quickly deleted when the shooter was identified as Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, a Syrian-born Muslim.

Hemal Jhaveri, USA Today’s ironically named “Race and Inclusion” editor, was very upset after seeing that an angry white man had killed 10 innocents. In response to a tweet posted by Deadspin writer Emily Julia DiCaro, which said, “Extremely tired of people’s lives depending on whether a white man with an AR-15 is having a good day or not,” she wrote, “It’s always an angry white man. Always.” Once she realized she’d been mistaken, she promptly deleted it. I posted about this story here.

Recently, even the U.S. government has jumped on the bandwagon. The $1.9 trillion COVID relief package “offers socially disadvantaged farm owners total debt forgiveness of up to hundreds of thousands of no-strings dollars per farmer. But white men needn’t apply. … It limits aid to racial groups who faced historic discrimination.”

The New York Post’s Betsy McCaughey wrote that this measure had been proposed by Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA). He “says it will make up for years of discrimination.”

Last month, I wrote (here) about two Harvard neurologists who practice at Boston’s Brigham and Women’s hospital. They have a plan to prioritize healthcare for POC. They hope to offer “preferential care based on race.” It calls for an “antiracist agenda for medicine” based on critical race theory.

Even Canada is on board. Last month, Hamilton Public Health (Ontario) announced that “COVID-19 vaccine appointments are now available for Black and other racialized populations/people of colour.”

Although people have become more vocal about expressing their anti-white sentiment since the death of George Floyd, anti-white bias is not new.

Two years ago, Professor Philip Carl Salzman wrote an article entitled, “The War Against White People” in Minding the Campus, in which he makes the case that “anti-white hate is now mainstream American culture” and “not just by racial extremists such as Black Lives Matter.”

He described Webster University’s new “safe space” that would be offered that fall “for recovering white people to admit that they are, by virtue of being white, anti-black racists. Only whites are welcome in these meetings, where students can confess to their racism and their white privilege. Note that it is presumed that being racist is simply part of Caucasian DNA, and since “students of color” can’t be racist, they have no need to go to such meetings.”

Salzman asks, “How did we get to this place, in which hating white people, the majority of Americans, not to mention wishing them all murdered, is deemed a virtue? The answer is that our liberal democratic culture emphasizing individual freedom and equality has transitioned, particularly among university and media elites in large cities and on the coasts, to a new culture that classifies and treats people by race, gender, sexuality, and ethnicity.”

“This ‘social justice’ culture replaces the individual with census categories and ranks these categories on a hierarchy of power and a converse hierarchy of virtue. Categories are distinguished between those with power, which are oppressor categories, and those without, which are victim categories.”

Anti-white racism is not a myth. It’s real and it’s becoming too big to ignore.

Unremarkable When She was a He, Weightlifter Shines Among Biological Women, Heads for Olympics

Photo Credit: Image by Dian Minchev from Pixabay

In its infinite wisdom, the International Olympic Committee will allow transgenders to participate in women’s events “as long as their testosterone levels are below 10 nanomoles per liter for at least 12 months before the competition,” according to a new report in Reuters.

When she was a he, Lauren Hubbard, 43, was an unremarkable men’s weightlifter. Frustrated by his inability to win among other males, he transitioned in 2013. And, unsurprisingly, everything has changed.

Reuters reports:

Weightlifter Laurel Hubbard is set to become the first transgender athlete to compete at an Olympics after qualifying for the rescheduled Tokyo Games due to a rule change, Inside the Games website reported on Wednesday.

Hubbard was effectively guaranteed a spot in the women’s super heavyweight category, the report from the Olympics-focused trade publication said, after the International Olympic Committee approved an amendment to the rules as the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of many qualifying competitions.

New Zealander Hubbard, 43, has not yet been named to the national women’s weightlifting team going to the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The report said that Australia’s weightlifting federation tried to prevent Hubbard from competing at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, however, their appeal was dismissed.

“Her gold medal wins at the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa, where she topped the podium ahead of Samoa’s Commonwealth Games champion Feagaiga Stowers, triggered outrage in the island nation,” according to Reuters.

Naturally, the USA is on board with the committee’s decision.

Kevin Farley, spokesman for USA Weightlifting, told Reuters, “We respect the rules established by the International Weightlifting Federation and the International Olympic Committee for qualification and will be focusing on assisting our athletes to compete against all those who are qualified for the Tokyo Games.”

As far as I’m concerned, this is a travesty. It shouldn’t happen in any women’s sports, but somehow the thought of a biological male competing against women in a weightlifting competition grates most of all.

If this trend continues, real women will be discouraged from competing in sports. Ultimately, the categories will be “men” and “transgenders.”

Such stupidity.

Babylon Bee: CIA Replaces Waterboarding With 12-Hour Lectures On Intersectional Feminism

Photo Credit: Image by Sarah Richter from Pixabay

On Wednesday, I posted about the completely over the top new CIA recruitment ad which must be seen to be believed.

I wrote that the left has taken their “woke” identity politics way too far and have now entered parody territory. They’ve become so unreasonable in fact, I suggested we launch a ridicule campaign against them which, according to the late radical “community organizer” Saul Alinsky, is one of the most effective tools in politics.

Rules for Radicals No. 5:  “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.”

In that spirit, I present to you a little parody from the Babylon Bee:

New CIA Recruitment Ad Starring Cisgender Woman of Color with ‘Generalized Anxiety Disorder’ Is an Epic Fail

Photo Credit: Image by Darwin Laganzon from Pixabay

After checking off all of the following boxes, woman of color, mom, cisgender, millennial, diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, intersectional, the narrator of the CIA’s new recruitment ad tells us her existence is not a box checking exercise. She could have fooled us.

As she continues her slow-motion stroll through the corridors of power, she exudes confidence.

Wearing an uber confident smile, she tells us she is “perfectly made” and that her inflection does not rise at the end of her sentences suggesting a question has just been asked. She can even change a diaper with one hand while consoling a crying toddler with the other.

In fact, she’s a “walking declaration.”

“I used to struggle with impostor syndrome, but at 36, I refuse to internalize misguided patriarchal ideas of what a woman can or should be,” she tells viewers.

Former CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright joined “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday and expressed his disgust over the ad, calling it “propagandist garbage.” He points out the dangers of our “woke” new CIA dealing with countries that remain unenlightened.

“What happens when you hire a bunch of folks who are wokesters going out into the world that is not woke?” he asked. “Is an analyst who is a wokester – are they going to bring nuance to their analysis? … Of course not, They’re activists now.”

“The rest of the world. China, for instance, is deeply racist and bigoted. Will you go out with your Marxist BLM signs: ‘No, no, no, don’t do that. That’s bad.’ I mean, come on.”

“Just a few years ago, [the ad] would never have made it out of the front office. Look, you know, I started after 9/11 and our focus. If you asked us if we were to star in a recruitment video, we would have talked about the mission of the country. Nothing in that two-minute video was focused on the country.”

Watch the full interview here.

Needless to say, the ad has been widely mocked – on both sides of the aisle.

As I see it, the left has taken their “woke” identity politics way too far and have now entered parody territory. Somewhere along the line, they managed to jump the shark.

It may have happened when Democrats, starting with the President, threw their collective tantrum over Georgia’s new voting law.

Even many blacks take offense over the implication that they are too stupid to figure out how to get a state ID card. Likewise, Democrats have become so pathetic that some of their own have run out credible excuses for this stupidity.

This is a perfect opportunity for Republicans to launch a ridicule campaign against the party.

Rule number 5 on the late radical “community organizer” Saul Alinsky’s Tried and True Rules for Radicals list says, “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.”

If ever there was a time for ridicule, it’s now.

Street Justice: Man Trying to Block Car at Antifa ‘Abolish the Police’ Protest Gets a Rude Awakening

Photo Credit: Image by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay

Antifa held an “Abolish the Police” protest in Portland on Thursday which blocked an intersection. As one car followed a truck through the crowd, a protestor tried to punch the driver through his open window.

Another, carrying an umbrella which said “Abolish the Police,” stood in front of the vehicle – which kept going. He wound up on the hood of the car, momentarily, until falling off. The driver then accelerates leaving behind an angry group. One female protestor is heard yelling, “Get it, get it, get it.”

Street justice.

An independent reporter covering the protest took the side of Antifa.

Hey Maranie, maybe people are enraged because they’re tired of being held hostage by antifa groups and others like them. Maybe people have decided it’s time to take our country back.

Additionally, maybe it’s not a good idea to try to punch a driver or stand in front his car to force to him to stop so a bunch of thugs can beat him to a bloody pulp.

Has this reporter’s common sense left her as it has the rest of the Democratic Party?

What will Antifa do? Report this driver to the police they’re trying to abolish? ‘We tried to punch him, damage his car and block him officer. But he kept moving. We were in danger.’

Revenge of the ‘Very Liberal’ Artx Majors

Photo Credit: Image by F. Muhammad from Pixabay

If you have a degree in sociology, psychology or gender studies, it’s not my fault. This isn’t a knock on your choice. I know how it feels to waste my own money, personally carrying around a degree in philosophy. I told myself I would continue on to law school, but the new ‘lottery’ (apologies to Shirley Jackson) draft system and my amazingly low draft number altered my plans.

Imagine my surprise when reading the news today and stumbling across an article that details just exactly how I, specifically as a white person, am supposed to behave in public when visiting the newly erected shrine dedicated to George Floyd; a drug addict and thug who had a violent criminal history. I am so glad that some woke social studies major got that figured out. I just hate not knowing how to act.

What would I do if I found myself in George Floyd Square, previously known as the intersection of 38th Street and Chicago, and didn’t conform to dictated expected behaviors?

Now I can go and visit that hallowed ground and do exactly what the rioters, BLM racists and socially woke, useful idiots want me to do.

Mr. Narrator (interrupts):  “Richard Edward, stop!  You are being disrespectful to the memory of George Floyd. People are trying to build a shrine to the memory of a hero, a man who sacrificed his life on the altar of justice. Crazy Nancy said so just a couple of days ago and you know you can’t tell her she is wrong.”

Richard Edward: “What? (don’t you just hate being surprised all of the time?)  Shrine to? Social justice warrior?  I read in an article by my colleague Elizabeth Vaughn that he was high on fentanyl at the time of his arrest. He told the officers “I can’t breathe” and repeated “put me on the ground” several times before he was placed on the ground during his apprehension. You sure we’re talking about the same dude?”

Mr. Narrator: “Yes, Richard Edward. That was George Floyd in life. In death, he has been given an entirely different biography. In life, he was just another drug-addled thug in Minneapolis who resisted arrest for his latest suspected crime; but in death, he has become a civil rights icon, more than worthy of your obsequious genuflecting. The woke graduate sociology majors have declared it so.”

Wow, is there anything a liberal arts degree can’t do? Rewrite history? Dictate your behavior in public places, especially according to your race? Tell millions of your neighbors how to think and feel about current events? I never understood that the possession of a degree in social studies, sociology or any other of the ‘Liberal Artx’ would hold the answer to all of the world’s conundrums.

Mr. Narrator: “Don’t be snarky, Richard Edward. These folks are serious. White people need to be told how to act in a place of worship. Here, let me show you what is required of you if you visit.  Newsmax captured the woke folk’s instructions in a nifty little list:

White guests need to “decenter” and “come to listen, learn, mourn, and witness.”

“Remember you are here to support, not to be supported,” the sign instructs.

White people are then asked to “contribute to the energy of the space, rather than drain it.”

Any “processing” must be brought to “other white folks” so that “BIPOC” (an acronym for “Black and Indigenous people of color”) are not harmed….

Richard Edward:  “Well, that does it. I am going to plan my trip to George Floyd Square right away. But before I go, I’ll first need to decipher the social justice warriors’ instructions to ensure my behavior will be acceptable to their hall-monitors, whom I am sure will be on duty, cell phone cameras at the ready.  These instructions are so wonderfully today’s pop psychology, I am positive they were written by recent graduates from any woke, ivy league school.”

“Mr. Narrator, do you know where I can go to find out how to ‘decenter’? This is important to me. My balance isn’t as good as it used to be, so any ‘decentering’ might have significantly adverse effects on my health and ability to stand upright. If I can’t stand up right, how can I follow the rest of their instructions?”

“Support?  I love being a support. That’s something I can get right without any homework. I’ve raised and supported a family, been married four times and thus clearly understand the true meaning of support. Heck, I once single-handedly held up a section of fence until the last post was installed. I can easily go to the location of the Great Fentanyl Incident and hand-out money, along with my deepest personally sympathy, to the race grifters who will inevitably inhabit the sidewalks of said intersection.”

“Be a contributor? You bet. Didn’t I already say I’ve been married four times?”

“Keep my processing to myself or folks of my own race? (So much for reaching out to others.) I guess I can support and contribute to those in the George Floyd matrix without letting it upset me to the point where I become triggered and need to run off, screaming for my safe space. Processing? Well, I used to work in the tech industry and can understand a little about processing, so I guess I’ll be alright with that one, too.”

“I can do this trip, Mr. Narrator. I can make the hajj to George Floyd Square and prostrate myself before the alter of wokeness, asking for forgiveness for being a white, law-abiding citizen; one whose expectations used to be only to ‘treat others as I would like to be treated.’ That life approach is so passé.”

Mr. Narrator:  “Richard Edward, I knew you would get it. There is hope for you to fit somewhere towards the bottom of the new woke, world order. We are so lucky that the sociology majors of the world have shown you your path to redemption.”

If you think that having a Liberal Artx degree and a holier than thou attitude does/doesn’t give one the right to dictate other’s behavior, please make a comment and let Richard Edward and Mr. Narrator know your thoughts.
