No, Actually the 2020 Election Has NOT Been Resolved

While reading an article about Liz Cheney in The Spectator earlier, I came across the following:

“Liz Cheney erred neither in condemning the riot nor in castigating Trump’s Ahab-like obsession over his loss but in remaining stuck in January 6 as the calendar moved on for the rest of us. Cheney’s position that Joe Biden legitimately beat Donald Trump, as readers of this column and the Spectator A.M. newsletter know, found endorsement here back in November. Trump lost by 74 electoral votes, after all, not seven. But that argument took place in the media, in courts, and in Congress more than four months ago. Cheney, perhaps more so than Trump, needs to get over this as a resolved question.”

It is not a resolved question. In fact, it’s far from a resolved question. The argument took place in the media and for about five minutes in Congress, but former President Donald Trump was never given his day in court.

The anomalies in the days following the election quickly multiplied. Over 1,000 election observers signed affidavits stating they had witnessed wrongdoing. Judges refused to hear their cases. No court would hear Trump’s cases. Not even the Supreme Court.

Immediately, the media set the narrative that the election was settled. When over 90 percent of the media unites around the same narrative, a phenomenon we witnessed repeatedly during the Trump years, the power is overwhelming.

Before too long, anyone who questioned Biden’s legitimacy was labeled as a conspiracy theorist. Then it simply became taboo to mention it.

But it still wasn’t settled.

In reporting a February Quinnipiac poll which revealed that 76 percent of Republicans believed widespread fraud had occurred in the election, CNN’s Chris Cillizza wrote “three quarters of Republicans believe a lie about the 2020 election.”

Stealing the presidency is a pretty audacious thing to do.

But, after watching the Democrats orchestrate the Russia Collusion hoax, a bogus impeachment, then a second impeachment against Trump, and turn Gen. Michael Flynn’s life into a living hell for four years to further their political goals, it’s not crazy to believe they would steal a presidential election.

In November 2020, over 2.1 million people voted in Arizona’s Maricopa County. These votes represent over 60 percent of all ballots cast in the state. The Republican-controlled state Senate is currently conducting a thorough forensic audit of all ballots cast in the County which has put the election back into the national headlines.

Almost eclipsing the story of the intensive audit that’s been underway for two weeks is the Democrats’ fury over it. (I posted about those efforts here.)

One of the first to cover the topic again was Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, host of “Sunday Morning Futures.”

Bartiromo spoke to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton about the issue. “Let me switch gears and ask you about election integrity. This is a subject that has become taboo. We’re not allowed to question the 2020 election. We’re not allowed to question what is going on in Arizona or in Georgia. What do you say to what is going on in Georgia and how Texas is similar to that situation around election 2020?”

“Yeah, so if you look at election results from four years ago, Georgia and Texas were very similar,” the Republican responded. “We fought off 12 lawsuits. We were sued 12 times over mail-in ballots. It was Harris County, it was Travis County, these big urban counties that wanted to mail out all of these mail-in ballots in violation of state law. Clearly what was not allowed by the state legislature. And so, we fought these off.

“They didn’t want signature verification. We were told by a federal judge that was unconstitutional. So we had state lawsuits, different counties, federal lawsuits, we had 12 of them. We won every single one of them.

“Had we not won every single one of those lawsuits, I’m convinced that those ballots would have gone out and we would have been just like Georgia, who decided to capitulate and sign consent decrees and say, ‘It’s OK. We’re going to let these mail-in ballots go out. We’re going to allow no signature verification. We’re going to allow drop boxes.’

All of those things had an impact, and instead of Georgia and Texas having similar results this time because we defended those lawsuits, Trump won. We’re able to have a Republican legislature here, and in Georgia, it was completely turned.”

“So, are you saying that, because of what we saw in mail-in ballots in Georgia, you’re questioning the results?” Bartiromo asked.

“I absolutely am questioning,” Paxton replied. “I know what would have happened here. They would have stopped counting, just like they did in those states, and they would have been counting mail-in ballots until they get the right number of votes and suddenly Trump loses and we lose the state House here. We lose some of our Supreme Court justices. And it wouldn’t have been a legitimate count because we wouldn’t have followed state law.”

“So are you questioning what happened in the 2020 election?” she said.

“Absolutely,” he said. “They didn’t follow state law in these states. It’s clear. Whether you think there was fraud or not … we do know they didn’t follow state law.”

The View From Down Under: Australian News Anchor Delivers a Second Brutal Review of the Biden Administration [Update]

Update: Another Sky News Australia anchor torches Biden. Scroll down for Alan Jones’ monolog.

It’s time for the Biden Administration and the U.S. establishment media to understand that they aren’t fooling the rest of the world with the farce they work so hard, day in and day out, to perpetuate. The world knows that President Joe Biden has dementia and that the media is working hard to cover up for him.

In February, Sky News anchor (and former member of parliament from South Australia) Cory Bernardi took aim at Biden for the first time. He began his monolog by telling viewers, “Never before has the leader of the free world been so cognitively compromised. It’s clear to me at the least that US President Joe Biden is struggling with dementia and is clearly not up to the task he’s been sworn in to do.” (Australian TV Host Delivers Brutally Honest Report on Biden’s Dementia: Calls Out US Media for ‘Biden Protection Racket’)

Two weeks later, another Sky News anchor, also from Australia, went off on Biden. (Second Australian Anchor Smokes the U.S. Media’s ‘Errant Hypocrisy’ Regarding Biden; Biden Just ‘Blunders On’)

Shortly after that, a Brit hopped on the bandwagon. (Two Honest Aussies, and Now a Brit, Report What Our Own Media Will Not.)

A couple of days ago, Bernardi was back with a progress report. Suffice it to say that neither Biden, nor his inner circle, fared any better this time around.

In the video below, Bernardi offers his second scathing assessment of the Biden Administration which he calls a true to life mockumentary.

He unmercifully critiques everyone from “Cackling Kamala” to “Crazy Nancy” and does not hesitate to point out the oddities and hypocrisies that the U.S. media refuses to touch. Watch the video below and you’ll wish Bernardi worked for CNN.

(Spoiler: Biden has not improved the United States’ standing in the eyes of the world.)

Lo and behold, as I was clicking around for news, I came across an update from Alan Jones, the other Australian anchor to torch Biden last month. Jones said that the “Leader of the Free World is incoherent, having to be propped up physically and intellectually … After the stumble, the websites of MSNBC, CBS News, the Washington Post, Lost Angeles Times and the New York Times all had no mention of Biden’s stumbling incident.”

Jones continued: “To prove the Trump point, when it came to airtime on television, CNN devoted 15 seconds to the incident. … But when Trump walked slowly down a ramp after he delivered a graduation address last June, CNN devoted 22 minutes to Trump’s walk, the media pushing the line that Trump – 74 – was facing serious health question.”

The U.S. media and the current occupant of the White House are international laughing stocks.

Candace Owens: For the Biden Administration, It’s Not a Border Crisis, But a Border Plan

President Joe Biden’s refusal to call the debacle which is unfolding on our southwest border a crisis has been an outrage. Despite the photos, the recordings and the reports that come to us on an hourly basis, neither he nor his lady in waiting, Vice President Kamala Harris, have visited to see firsthand the misery their policies have led to. But what if, rather than a denial that the crisis exists, it’s all part of the administration’s plan to import a new class of voters?

An examination of the Democrats’ historical strategy with black Americans provides a clue into their current objectives.

Conservative commentator Candace Owens joined Fox News’ Mark Levin to discuss the Democratic Party’s total betrayal of America and the strategy behind it. (This episode of Life, Liberty and Levin originally aired on March 28. It can be viewed below. Owen’s segment begins at 17:30.)

Owens begins with an explanation of how the Democratic Party, which claims to help blacks through all of their social programs, has actually suppressed them. While it may appear on the surface that Democrats have supported blacks by providing for them financially and rhetorically, their “largesse” has actually been a mechanism designed to hold them back, preventing them from taking the reins and succeeding, from breaking out of the cycle of poverty. Most blacks see only that Democrats are more generous than Republicans and have loyally supported them at the polls for decades. Many of us have known this for a long time.

Owens larger point, however, is that the black population has not grown fast enough for the Democrats. So, they are now “importing” a new class of voters. Democrats will ensure these people receive health care and that they are housed, fed and even educated. The party will see to it that the illegals now flooding into the U.S. from Central and South America in record numbers will become completely dependent on them for their survival.

Just as the majority of blacks continue to vote Democratic, so too will the Hispanics. The cycle of poverty will repeat itself.

“Everyone keeps calling this a border crisis Mark. This isn’t a border crisis, this is a border plan,” Owens tells Levin.

“They are trying to import a new class of voters. They are trying to say to the Mexican-Americans, to the South-Americans … ‘we will help you, we’ll give you free stuff like we gave black Americans free stuff after Jim Crow ended. We’re gonna welfare-ize you. We’re gonna give you handouts, we’re gonna marry you to the government like we married black Americans to the government.’ It’s pure evil.”

Levin spoke about the media’s coverage of the recent mass shooting in Atlanta, Georgia, that left eight people dead (including six Asians) and the Boulder, Colorado grocery store shooting that left 10 ten dead. In each case, the media racialized the stories. Levin says, “They’re racializing these issues. Of course, they’re only racializing it in one direction. These people in the media, these people in the Democrat Party are tearing this country apart, don’t you think?”

“With intention, with pure evil intention, they are tearing this country apart because they realize that race gives them power. Because people get emotional about race, right? They don’t even know the facts of the story, but if they say, ‘this was a white supremacist attack,’ they know that black Americans will instantly get angry and that’s how they need them. They rely on emotion, because it suspends rationality,” replied Owens.

“They don’t want people thinking rationally, they don’t want them thinking clearly, they don’t want them actually pursuing the facts,” she said. “They don’t want them looking at the data.”

This culture of racism, Owens explained, “was not created by black Americans, that culture was created by Democrats. Systematically created by Democrats – by Lyndon Baines Johnson who is hailed as a hero in textbooks when he was anything but. He was an avowed racist who sought to make sure that black Americans were programmed, that their families were destroyed and that they turned to the government for every single answer. And that is why we have a rotten culture in black America today. It was orchestrated by the people that always were the racists and continue today to be the racists and that is the Democrat Party.”

Biden and Harris are very well aware of conditions at the border. From their perspective, everything is moving ahead according to plan. They knew it would be a little “messy” in the beginning. But as always with Democrats, and this is especially true for today’s Democrats, the end justifies the means. The (roughly) two million illegal immigrants who will likely flow into our country this year will be added to the millions more who preceded them.

(Note: No one knows how many illegals are currently residing in America. I have seen figures ranging from 11 million to 29 million. My guess is the true number is closer to the latter,)

Democrats are hoping to preside over a repeat of the same cycle of dependency that worked so well for them with black Americans from the 1960s on. They will meet their every need and taxpayers will foot the bill. They will grant amnesty and provide a path to citizenship for them.

They expect members of this demographic group to become loyal Democratic voters who will help cement their power for as long as possible. In the end, the story may play out differently with Hispanics than it did for blacks, but that’s fodder for a different post. The point is that the Democrats are not in denial, it’s all part of their larger strategy to ensure one-party rule in America for generations to come.

Joe Biden and the ‘One Note Samba’

Advertisements
Photo Credit: Image by David Stephanus from Pixabay

Ah, the week is coming to an end, and what a week it has been. Our AWOL president showed his face for an hour or so yesterday, carrying a binder full of reporters (no worries, Senator Romney, those binders of women still belong to you) and the weight of the free world on his shoulders.

Since that blessed event which featured the “moral and decent man,” I’ve been waiting for the long line of press releases articulating the forthcoming activities for the Biden-Harris Administration’s goals. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems that the battle plan to Build Back Better has been little more than a repudiation and reversal of the policies and programs of the Trump Administration.

Donald Trump’s presidency was a symphony of activity. In four short years, he accomplished so much that even his most ardent supporters might miss an achievement or two in recall. The list is so long, Richard Edward cannot recount the entire four years of activity. Just the highlights of Mr. Trump’s tenure would make a swamp creature politician proud to include them on their resume.

Since I have turtle recall, I searched the internet and found the “score sheet” for every instrument in the Trump administration orchestra. The list of accomplishments during President Trump’s tenure requires hundreds of individual bullet points and over 10,000 words of information. There isn’t time or space to annotate each one. It’s well worth your time to review Trump Administration Accomplishments. I guarantee you will be amazed at how much was achieved, and how much you never heard about – looking at you mainstream media.

In contrast, the new Biden-Harris Administration appears to be preoccupied with tearing down existing rules, methods and processes, without regard to efficacy. I am still not sure if that means building back better or just trying to eradicate all reminders of their predecessor.

Cue Narrator: “Richard Edward, were you looking for the list of goals that the Biden Administration was going to pursue?”

Richard Edward: “You bet. I have been anxiously waiting to see how much further the Biden Administration can take America, building upon the successful programs of the Trump Administration. I mean, c’mon man, what a foundation from which to build your new presidency, right?”

Narrator: “Well, Richard Edward, it looks like the Biden list you seek may be shorter than you anticipated.”

Richard Edward: “That can’t be right. … Biden has served in the federal government for what, 47 years? He must have a laundry list of ideas and policies that will continue to make America great. President Trump did literally hundreds of positive things for America so President Biden, with all of his prior experience, should have even more cool stuff. See, CNN’s got a list of orders signed in his first few months. … I’ll bet it’s really detailed and long and ….”

Mr. Narrator:  “Okay Richard Edward, lets take a look.”

He presents a list compiled by six CNN writers of Biden’s “achievements” through 8 March 2021 (emphasis mine):

President Joe Biden has signed a flurry of executive orders, actions and memorandums aimed at rapidly addressing the coronavirus pandemic and dismantling many of former President Donald Trump’s policies.

The executive actions Biden has taken in the first days of his administration include halting funding for the construction of Trump’s border wall, reversingTrump’s travel ban targeting largely Muslim countries, imposing a mask mandate on federal property, ramping up vaccination supplies and requiring international travelers to provide proof of negative Covid-19 tests prior to traveling to the United States.

So far, Biden has signed more than 50 executive actions, 22 of which are direct reversals of Trump’s policies. Most of these actions have addressed the novel coronavirus, immigration and equity.

Biden defends the number of executive actions he has issued as necessary to undo what he considers “bad policy” inherited from Trump, especially on immigration.

To date, nine of his 11 actions regarding immigration are reversals of Trump’s policies.

And straight from the horse’s mouth as he signed a stack of executive orders on immigration in the Oval Office on Feb. 2. (via CNN):

And I want to make it clear — there’s a lot of talk, with good reason, about the number of executive orders that I have signed — I’m not making new law; I’m eliminating bad policy. What I’m doing is taking on the issues that — 99% of them — that the president, the last president of the United States, issued executive orders I felt were very counterproductive to our security, counterproductive to who we are as a country, particularly in the area of immigration.

After reading the CNN article, I sit back from my laptop, somewhat stunned. I ask myself, “What is this all about? Why is Biden undoing everything that 75 million American citizens thought were moving our country in the proper direction? Even during the pandemic, we were overall winning.”

Low unemployment, increased opportunity for minorities, energy independence, new Middle East peace prospects; my favorites on the Trump “win list” swirl in my brain. There are hundreds more.

Richard Edward: “Weren’t we told that Biden is a moderate Democrat who will consider the well-being of Americans, our laws, our economy, our health and safety, and doing what’s best for America regardless of politics? Now I am learning that Biden’s really only knows how to tear down. He’s taken a wrecking ball to Trump’s accomplishments.”

Narrator:  Cue the music.

Faintly, the upbeat melody of Antônio Carlos Jobim’s One Note Samba wafts out of my stereo speakers. The English lyrics, written by Jon Hendricks, seem so appropriate for the situation.

This is just a little samba
built upon a single note
Other notes are bound to follow but the root is still that note
Now this new one is the consequence
of the one we’ve just been through
As I’m bound to be the unavoidable consequence of you

There’s so many people who can talk and talk and talk
And just say nothing or nearly nothing
I have used up all the scale I know and at the end I’ve come
To nothing, or nearly nothing

Richard Edward:  “Mr. Narrator, I hate the music you chose to make your point. Unfortunately, I get it. Mr. Biden only knows how to play one song, using one note, a discordant note of destruction. Why didn’t Biden learn to play something new over 47 years? If only we had a president who really knew how to play more than one note on one instrument, who had a repertoire of music and the ability to improvise during his performance. Biden has used up all of the scale and truly, come to nothing.”

If you think a president’s inability to do nothing but tear down what has come before him is an American Crisis, please let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Black Lives Matter Group Marches to Rochester Store Shouting ‘We’re shutting s— down,’ Traps 100 Customers Inside

On March 23, 2020, police in Rochester, NY, received a report that a naked man under the influence of PCP was running through town, shouting that he had the coronavirus. When police tried to subdue him, he spit on them which caused them to place a mesh hood, otherwise known as a “spit sock” over his head. The man, Daniel Prude, was placed on the pavement and subdued for two minutes by police.

Prude, who had a history of mental illness, was black.

After Prude became unresponsive, he was resuscitated and brought to a hospital where he died one week later.

“The Monroe County Office of the Medical Examiner ruled Mr. Prude’s death a homicide. The autopsy report concluded he died of asphyxiation ‘in the setting of physical restraint’ and acute intoxication with the hallucinogenic drug PCP,” according to The Wall Street Journal.

In February, a New York grand jury voted against indictment of any of the police officers involved in the case.

Tuesday marked the one year anniversary of this incident, and a group of approximately 200 members of Black Lives Matter gathered for a protest. As they marched toward Wegmans, a popular Rochester grocery store, they shouted, “We have a long walk today. We’re shutting s— down.”

The Washington Examiner reported that, as the group approached the store, the owner locked it down, trapping around 100 customers inside.

The group banged on the glass doors and repeatedly chanted, “Black Lives Matter.”

In a tweet, Rochester journalist and radio host Bob Lonsberry wrote, “Hundreds of people trapped in the East Avenue #ROC Wegmans by this mob, The Rochester Police Department is just watching and letting it happen. I guess fire codes and trespassing aren’t things in Rochester anymore. What an embarrassing day for the city and the PD.”

He continued in a second tweet. “Allowing the mob to shut down the East Ave [Wegmans], trapping at least a hundred people, is an immoral failing by the mayor at @CityRochesterNY and the @RochesterNYPD. To kiss the a– of the mob, the rights of others are trodden, and the city dies even more.”

Rochester based journalist Justin Murphy spoke to one of the BLM protestors who said, “We’re more than just taxpayers in their capitalist system; we’re human beings, and we demand to be treated as such.”

They’re taxpayers? I’ll bet most of them pay little or no taxes. They’re human beings, and they demand to be treated as such? Need I even respond to the irony in that remark?

In the tweet below, Monroe County legislator Rachel Barnhart makes an equally stupid comment. “Reasonable people can debate tactics and messaging. It’s normal to be annoyed or inconvenienced if the grocery store is blocked off by protesters. But I care more about Black lives than Wegmans. The protest will end. The store will reopen. The injustice will go on.”

Barnhart’s comment is even more egregious than Carson’s, if possible. One would expect such an inane remark from a member of BLM. I am not a lawyer, but here’s a county legislator who overlooks the obvious crimes being committed, entrapment and threatening, for starters.

And she views the shoppers trapped inside as being “annoyed or inconvenienced” rather than frightened. BLM has a long history of violence. Any reasonable person in that situation would feel some degree of fear.

America defeated Nazi Germany and Japan’s Imperial Army. How do we fight the enemy from within? Especially now that they control the presidency and both chambers of Congress. The Democratic Party is fast becoming the greatest foe this nation has ever faced.

The Democrats are trying to destroy America. It’s as if they’re in command of our ship and they’re aiming it right for an iceberg at flank speed.

Tell me again how Jan. 6 was the most shameful day in America’s history..

Biden Signs Executive Order to ‘Expand Voting Access’ on Anniversary of ‘Bloody Sunday’

Advertisements

President Joe Biden is contemptible. Just as he chose the anniversary of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting several weeks ago to introduce gun control laws, he used the anniversary of “Bloody Sunday” to announce his latest power grab executive order to expand voting access.

As The War Room’s Steve Bannon said on his podcast last week, Biden’s eyes look dead.

He slurs his way through the words that appear on the teleprompter before him.

“The blood of [the late congressman and civil rights icon] John Lewis and so many other brave and righteous souls that was spilled in Selma on this Sunday in 1965 sanctified a noble struggle,” Biden says.

“But there are those [us] who will do anything they can to take that power away. Today we have a hailstorm, not a rainstorm, a hailstorm. In 2020, our very democracy … on the line, in the midst of a pandemic, more Americans voted than ever before.”

He’s right about that. In fact, in the state of Pennsylvania, so many people voted that there were 200,000 more ballots than people who voted!

“Multiple recounts in states and decisions of more than 60 cases from judges appointed by my predecessor, including at the Supreme Court, upheld the integrity of this historic election.”

That is not true. Those judges refused to review the cases brought by former President Trump’s legal team. They wouldn’t even look at the 1,000 affidavits of election observers who swore, under the penalty of perjury, that they had witnessed fraud.

“We’ve seen an unprecedented insurrection in our Capitol and a brutal attack on our democracy on January 6th.”

I would argue that we saw a brutal attack on our democracy on November 3.

He continues, “A never before seen effort to ignore, undermine and undo the will of the people. And to think of that and yet it’s been followed by an all-out assault on the right to vote in state legislatures all across the country.”

“You know, during the current legislative session, elected officials in 43 states have already introduced over 250 bills to make it harder for Americans to vote. We can … not … let … them … succeed.”

Biden emphasizes the importance of H.R. 1 which would make permanent all of the chicanery that handed him the presidency. He hopes that it passes the Senate.

“I also urge Congress to fully restore the Voting Rights Act named in John Lewis’ honor.

“Today, on the anniversary of “Bloody Sunday,” I’m signing an executive order to make it easier for eligible voters to register to vote and improve access to voting.”

Yes, because it’s so onerous to travel to our local precincts, show our drivers’ licenses and cast our ballots.

Then, he discusses words he exchanged with John Lewis shortly before he passed. Lewis had told him to “finish the work.” And that’s what our noble president has vowed to do.

He is a disgrace.
